Starbucks Adds More Partners For Wi-Fi Content
Seattle-based coffee retailer Starbucks further detailed its plans for its in-store, digital content network it announced earlier this year, as part of its new, free Wi-Fi access in its locations. According to Starbucks, its Starbucks digital network will give free access to content from such firms as Rodale, Nick Jr. Boost and DonorsChoose.org. Those companies join earlier announced content providers iTunes, The New York Times, Patch, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo! and Zagat. Starbucks said the Starbucks Digital network will "elevate" the value of its free Wi-Fi services, and will be available this fall. The portal and information service is being run in a partnership with Yahoo.
