Starbucks' New iPhone App Adds Mobile Tipping

No loose change in your pocket? Seattle-based Starbucks said yesterday that its newest update to its iPhone app now allows users to digitally tip their baristas. Starbucks said that more than 11 percent of its transactions a week are now happening via its mobile phone app, and the move come because digital tipping was the top suggestion on its online community, MyStarbucksIdea.com. Starbucks says it plans on adding the feature--along with a number of other enhancements--on its Android version later this year.
