Virtensys Snags Storage Vet For Board

Beaverton, Oregon-based Virtensys, a developer of PCI-express based I/O virtualization systems, said today that it has named Peter Hayden to its board of directors. Hayden was the co-founder of storage firm EqualLogic, which was acquired by Dell in 2008. Hayden has also served at Adaptec, Bell Labs, and Digital Equipment Corporation. Virtensys is venture backed by Scottish Equity Partners (SEP), Celtic House Venture Partners (CHVP), and Gimv, and also has operations in Manchester, England.
