VirtenSys Gets $16M

Beaverton, Oregon- and UK-based VirtenSys Ltd. announced today that it has raised $16M in a funding round. The firm said the Series C funding came from existing investors Scottish Equity Partners (SEP), Celtic House Venture Partners (CHVP), and Gimv. Virtensys develops PCI-Express I/O virtualization switches for the data center market. According to the firm, the new funding will go towards growing its revenues, broadening its markets, and expanding its operations. VirtenSys opened up its U.S. headquarters in Beaverton in January of last year. More information »
