VirtenSys Ships Products
Beaverton, Oregon-based VirtenSys, a developer of products for the data center market, said today that it has shipped its flagship virtualization switch products, the VirtenSys VIO 4000 Series. The firm's products, based on PCI Express, allow servers to share Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet, SAS/SATA and Fibre Channel connectivity. VirtenSys claims its switches reduce rack and blade server management complexity and costs.
