Jive Moves HQ To Silicon Valley, Names Zingale Permanent CEO

Jive Software, the Portland-based maker of social networking software for businesses, said today that it has moved its headquarters to Palo Alto, California, and appointed interim CEO Tony Zingale as permanent CEO. According to Jive, the move to Silicon Valley comes as it has grown its Silicon Valley team from 4 to 50 people in the last year, with plans to have over 100 employees in Palo Alto. The firm said that Portland will continue to be a "major hub of innovation and investment," but did not detail its hiring plans in the location.
