Jive Names Zingale CEO

Portland-based Jive, a developer of social networking software for business, said Monday that it has named board member Tony Zingale as its new CEO. The firm said that current CEO Dave Hersh has become Chairman of the firm. Zingale will serve as the firm's interim CEO, while it begins a search for a permanent CEO. Zingale was most recently President and CEO of Mercury Interactive. In a statement, Hersh said the move came because it was "time to put the foot on the gas."
