HTC Sues Apple For Patent Infringement

Taiwanese handset maker HTC Corporation--which has its North American headquarters in Seattle--said this afternoon that it has filed a complaint the the United State International Trade Commission (ITC), alleging that Apple Computer is infringing on five of its patents. HTC is asking the ITC to halt the importation and sale of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod in the United States.
