APCON Sues Firms For Patent Infringement
Wilsonville, Oregon-based APCON, a provider of physical layer switches used in networking labs, said late Friday that it has sued MRV Communications and Curtiss-Wright Corporation for patent infringement. APCON said it seeks to prevent infringement on its patent, U.S. Patent No. 6,243,510. The firm said the patent covers sytsems and methods for switching signals, and was issued in 2001.
