Intermec Wraps Up Tortilla Manufacturer

Everett, Washington-based Intermec, a supplier of supply chaint tracking hardware and products, reported today that it has signed on Mission Foods, one of the nation's biggest tortilla manufacturers, as a customer. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. According to Intermec, Mission Foods has deployed its RFID readers, antennas, labels, and printers across three of its plants, which process around 20,000 containers a day. The INtermec products are being used as part of an effort to move towards reusable containers, instead of carton boxes.
