Getty Images Launches New Subscription Image Service
Seattle-based Getty Images said this morning that it has launched a new, subscription service focused on stock photography. The firm said the new Thinkstock.com site will offer a subscription service providing images from Getty Images, Jupiterimages, and iStockphoto, including both user generated and professional content. The firm said the new site will offer monthly or yearly subscription options which will give customers access to its entire library, including downloads of up to 25 images per day, o 750 images per month, all available royalty-free to users. Getty Images said the new service will cost $249 a month, or $2499 a year, along with multi-shot image packs at lower pricing.
