Cardiac Science In Development Partnership
Bothell-based Cardianc Science, a developer of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and other cardiac monitoring devices, said today that it has linked with Cambridge Heart, a developer of noninvasive diagnostics tests for cardiac disease. The two said they are collaborating on a new module to be integrated with Cardiac Science's cardiac stress test systems. The Microvolt T-Wave Alternans (MTWA) module is in the prototype stage, and still required industry standard validation, verification, and regulatory approval. Financial details on the deal were not announced.
