Decho Powers Vodafone Backup Service

Telecom carrier Vodafone is tapping Seattle-based Decho, the subsidiary of EMC which develops online backup services, for its own PC backup services, Vodafone said Tuesday. According to Vodafone, its PC Backup service will allow users to backup work or personal content to a remotely hosted site. Vodafone said the service will work over both its fixed and mobile broadband service. Financial details of the arrangement between the firms was not detailed.
