Integrated Diagnostics Gets $30M
Seattle-based Integrated Diagnostics, the biotech startup headed by Dr. Leroy Hood, said today that it has raised more than $30M in funding, and will focus on personalized and preventative diagnostics using genomic and proteomic technologies. The firm said that the funding came from InterWest Partners, Wellcome Trust, and dievini. The company said it would build on reserach from Dr. Hood and others to create diagnostic tools for predicting, preventing, and treating diseases. Dr. Hood is the inventor of the automated DNA sequencer. More information »
