HipCricket Signs Baltimore
Kirkland-based HipCricket, a provider of mobile marketing services, disclosed this morning that it has signed on the city of Baltimore as a customer. Financial impact of the win was not announced by the firm. HipCricket said that it is powering an initiative from the city's Department of Recreation and Parks, to outreach to adolescents through their mobile phones. The deal includes a text messaging promotion through radio stations and information about events, opportunities, and discounts from local businesses in Baltimore.
