RadiSys Cuts 119, To Shut Manufacturing In Hillsboro
Hillsboro, Oregon-based RadiSys, which develops embedded computing products, is cutting 119 employees and shutting its Hillsboro, Oregon manufacturing operations, the firm disclosed in it quarterly results Tuesday. According to RadiSys, it will transfer its remaining manufacturing in Hillsboro, Oregon, to contract manufacturing partners in Asia. The firm also said it will transfer programs at its Boca Raton, Florida development centers to its other locations. The firm said that 84 of the cuts are in manufacturing, 28 in R&D, and 7 in SG&A. The revelation came as the firm said it had revenues of $78.1M for the quarter ending June 30th, down 20% from the same quarter last year.
