Gist Rolls Adds News Feeds, Search

Seattle-based Gist, the email information startup incubated by Vulcan Capital and funded by the Foundry Group, told its beta users today that it has rolled out a new release of its beta software. The firm said it has added new search capabilities for people in a company, better performance, a redesigned display of information in MS Outlook, personal news feeds, along with other enhancements. Gist's service allows email users to pull up information about their business contacts in a single view, including emails, links, attachments, and news.
