Rentrak Signs Customer

Portland-based Rentrak, a provider of media measurement services for the media, entertainment, and advertising industries, said today that the firm has signed a deal with HDNet LLC. The firm said it will be the data source for third party reporting and measurement on HDNet's high definition network. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Rentrak pulls viewing data from set-top boxes used by cable, satellite, and telco broadband operators.
