MOD Systems Looks To Japan

Seattle-based MOD Systems reports today that the firm is launching efforts in Japan, with an effort to demonstrate its retail media kiosks with NCR and Toshiba. MOD, which develops a kiosk system which allows retailers to sell digital video and music to memory cards, said that NCR Corporate and Toshiba Corporation are demonstrating its products at a show in Tokyo. The firm said it plans to launch its product this year in the United States, with international deployment to follow. Both NCR and Toshiba are investors in the firm.
