Digini, Vyk Games Merge

Issaquah, Washington-based Digini and Shanghai, China-based Vyk Games, firms which provide video game software and outsourced game development to companies, said today that the two have merged into a new firm, Blade Games. According to the firms, the new company will be based in Bellevue, and headed by former Digini CEO Tony Garcia, with former Vyk Games CEO Tom Sperry acting as President. Financial details of the merger were not disclosed. Blade Games said it will offer a new flagship product, called Blade3D, and an associated game assets product called Blade3D Marketplace. The firm said its software will address the Windows and Xbox360 markets.
