Guppy Games Acquired By Korean Firm
Bellevue's Guppy Games, a developer of games for mobile phones, said Monday afternoon that it has been acquired by NVLsoft, a Korean Web 2.0 developer. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Guppy Games develops BREW and J2ME mobile games, and was founded by Alex Choe. NVLsoft is a subsidiary of IS Hightech Group. According to Guppy Games, it will expand its staff to continue development and publishing of its mobile games; the firm's headquarters will remain in Seattle.
