SplashCast Signs Radio Broadcasting Customer

Portland-based SplashCast, a developer of software for content syndication, said today that the firm has signed on radio broadcaster Entercom Communications Corp. According to SplashCast, Entercom will use its technology to provide local content and social networking features on the web sites of 70 music radio stations. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. SplashCast said that Entercom Communications is one of the five largest radio broadcasting firms in the United State. Entercom owns 110 radio stations in 23 markets, including KISW, KKWF, KMTT, and KNDD in Seattle, and KRSK, KWJJ, KYCH, KFXX, KGON, and KNRK in Portland.
