Entrance Controls Acquires 1Pointe

Seattle-based Entrance Controls, a provider of physical security management and access control systems, said Monday that it has acquired Portland-based 1Pointe, a provider of network monitoring and security services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. The firms said the combined organization will offer everything from physical security such as access control and video surveillance, to IT security solutions for business. Entrance Controls said it expects the buy to increase its revenues by 10 percent, and add seven IT professionals to the firm.
