INRIX Powers Second TeleNav Product
INRIX, a provider of traffic flow information and analysis, reported Monday that a new GPS device will feature the Kirkland, Wash.-based firm's real-time traffic data. The product, called TeleNav Shotgun, is a two-way, Internet-connected global positioning system personal navigation device. INRIX said the Shotgun combines INRIX's dynamic traffic data with a suite of Web-enabled offerings, including maps, gas prices and some 11 million business listings. The Shotgun is the second TeleNav device leveraging INRIX data—TeleNav's mobile phone-based GPS navigation service, the GPS Navigator, also utilizes traffic flow information from INRIX, the company said.
