Allrecipes.com Expands in UK, Australia

Seattle-based Allrecipes.com, an online food community and social network, said Wednesday that it has launched two new international sites, focused on the UK and Australia/New Zealand audience. According to Allrecipes, the move is the first in an expansion overseas, with two new sites targeted at France and Germany launching before the end of the year. According to Allreceipes.com, the new sites will feature localized versions of its site, with local languages, ingredients, and measures, and will all feature user-generated content created by people in those countries. Allrecipes is a unit of media firm Reader's Digest Association.
