Seattle VC Keith Grinstein Dies
Keith Grinstein, a venture capitalist at Second Avenue Partners, and chairman of Coinstar, died Sunday of natural causes, Grinstein's family announced late Monday evening. Grinstein was a partner at Second Avenue Partners, a Seattle venture capital firm, and also sat on the boards of directors of F5 Networks and Labor Ready (TrueBlue). Grinstein was 48. Grinstein was also involved as an investor in Amazon, Aquantive, Pathogenesis, VaxGen, Tegic, HouseValues, Wireless Services, Nordstrom.com, Superconductor Collider Corporation, Neah Power, Insitu, Ice Energy, and Seattle Biodiesel.
