F5 Networks Gets Win With Cloud Computing Provider
Seattle-based F5 Networks said today that a cloud computing provider, BlueLock, is using the firm's BIG-IP traffic management products. Financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. According to F5, BlueLock is using its BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager product as part of a VMware-based, virtual cloud computing platform. F5's hadware is being used to provide load balancing and SLL offload for BlueLock's virtual infrastructure. BlueLock provides access to computing resources for clients on a month-to-month basis.
