NCsoft Targets Seattle For New Unit Headquarters

South Korean-based game publisher NCsoft, a developer of massively multiplayer online games and other gaming titles, said Wednesday afternoon that the firm is eyeing Seattle as the headquarters for a new subsidiary covering the firm's U.S and Europe operations. According to NCsoft, it has established "NC West" as a wholly-owned subsidiary of NCsoft. The new subsidiary plans to establish a headquarters in Seattle by the end of 2008. NCsoft said its NC Interactive, NC Europe, NC Austin, and ArenaNet operations will be led by the new NC West organization. The new organization will be led by Chris Chung. NCsoft publishes the popular Guild Wars, City of Heroes, and Tabula Rasa MMOs.
