Insightful Acquired By TIBCO

Seattle-based predictive analytics software firm Insightful Corporation said Thursday that it has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by TIBCO Software. Insightful said the deal was worth approximately $25M in cash. Insightful stockholders will receive $1.87 per share in cash for each share of Insightful common stock. Insightful is a developer of software used for statistical data analysis and data mining. The firm was advised by RBC Capital Markets and Fenwick & West on the deal.
