FEI In Agreement With Japanese Sales Firm

Hillsboro, Oregon-based FEI Company said today that it has selected Shimadzu Corporation to sell its systems in Japan. FEI, which is a manufacturer of scanning electronic microscopes (SEMs) and other electron microscopes, said that Shimadzu will sell its products to its base of customers in Japan. FEI's products are used in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
