GridNetworks Gets Investment From Comcast

Seattle-based GridNetworks, a provider of Internet video delivery services, said this morning that it has scored an investment from Comcast Interactive Capital. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. GridNetworks said the investment came as part of a collaborative relationship with Comcast. According to the firms, the collaboration revolves around using P2P technology on ISP networks, for delivering HD and other video content. The new investment in GridNetworks follows a similar strategic investment in the firm in March by Cisco. More information »
