iLike Talent Inventory Cracks 200,000 Mark

Seattle-based iLike Inc., creators of a music-sharing and recommendation utility that accompanies social-networking platforms like Facebook, revealed Wednesday that its roster of participating recording artists has surpassed 200,000. iLike said it now boasts some 23 million users across the Facebook, Bebo and hi5 networks. iLike added that its reach will continue to grow in the coming weeks as it debuts its application on MySpace and Orkut courtesy of Google OpenSocial. iLike explained that its Universal Artist Dashboard and multi-media blogging tools allow musicians to post content for instant syndication on iLike's Web site, iLike's desktop plugin for iTunes and Windows Media Player, and across its social-networking partners.
