Dolphin Software Acquired For $23.5M
Lake Oswego, Oregon-based Dolphin Software, a maker of software for the management of chemical data and formula information, has been acquired by IHS, a Colorado-based energy and environmental firm. According to IHS, the deal was worth $23.5M in cash. Dolphin was advised by Sparring Partners Capital in the deal. Dolphin's software is used for recording and tracking usage of chemicals, including cleaning supplies and toxic materials, at facilities.
