FlowPlay Inks $3.7M Funding
Seattle-based FlowPlay said today that the firm has closed a $3.7M, Series A financing round for the firm's casual gaming technology. The round came from Intel Capital and Ambient Sound Investments, along with individual investors Ben Feingold of Sony Pictures and Michael Schutzler, former SVP Games at Realnetworks. According to the firm, the funding will go to complete and launch its first consumer entertainment property. FlowPlay was founded by Derrick Morton, Douglas Pearson, and Christian Oestlien.
