Integra Telecom Closes Warburg Pincus Transaction
Portland, Oregon-based Integra Telecom, a provider of voice, data, and Internet communications services, said Thursday afternoon that it has close its equity investment from private equity firm Warburg Pincus. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed; however, the firm said the proceeds of the transaction will be paid out to certain existing Integra investors. The firms had announced in August that Warburg Pincus would invest at least $245M in Integra. Integra said other major shareholder of the firm include Banc of America Capital Investors and Boston Ventures.
