Intermec, Cisco Link Systems

Everett, Washington-based Intermec said today that it is in a collaboration with Cisco, to provide interoperability between the company's rugged handheld computers and Cisco's wireless networking systems. According to Intermec, the deal covers the firm's multi-radio CN3 rugged handheld computer and Cisco's Unified Communications products. Cisco's Unified Communications products connect wireless and radio systems to IP-based networks, including PCs and other systems.
