Microsoft Invests $240M In Facebook

Microsoft said this afternoon that it has taken a $240M equity stake in Facebook, the popular online social networking web site. Microsoft said that the investment would come as part of Facebook's next round of financing, at a valuation of $15 billion. As part of the deal, Microsoft will become the exclusive third party advertising platform for Facebook.
