Microsoft Invests In Two Artificial Intelligence Startups
Microsoft, via its Microsoft Ventures investment arm, made two investments in artificial intelligence startups, the company announced last week. Microsoft Ventures invested in Agolo, a startup developing software to analyze and summarize the key points in documents. Agolo, based in New York, raised $3.5M in its funding round, which came from Microsoft Ventures and CRV. Bonsai, based in Berkeley, California, develops machine learning algorithms; that funding was worth $7.6M and also included New Enterprise Associates, among others
