Coinstar Links With UK Payment Provider

Bellevue, Washington-based Coinstar Inc., the provider of self-service coin counting and e-payment products, said today that it has partnered with a United Kingdom firm, PayPoint, on a gift card program. Coinstar said that its affiliate, Coinstar E-Payment Services Limited, will offer gift cards for retailers in the United Kingdom. The gift cards will be available at PayPoint outlets and roll out in the second half of the year. PayPoint provides retail payment terminals used for payment of household bills, pay for mobile phone minutes, and for accepting other payments.
