Jobster Intros Facebook App

Seattle-based Jobster said Thursday that it has rolled out a new application for Facebook, the popular social networking web site. The firm said that its new Facebook application allows Facebook users to pass their personal information and career interests along to hiring companies, to see where their friends work, and to search for jobs indexed by the service. The company's application comes shortly after Facebook rolled out an open programming interface which allows any company to connect their services into Facebook. Jobster operates an online job listing and search service, and is venture backed by Ignition Partners, Trinity Ventures, Mayfield Fund and Reed Elsevier Ventures.
