Jobster Buys Jobby
Seattle-based Jobster has acquired another Web 2.0 startup, Jobby. Jobby provides tagging technology based on Ajax technology, that allows employers to tag positions, making it easier for job seekers to find jobs that fit them. Jobster said that it will incorporate Jobby features into its new consumer site starting in the third quarter. The move is the second Web 2.0 acquisition for Jobster, which acquired WorkZoo, an online vertical meta-search engine in January of last year. Jobby was founded by Tony Wright and Brian Fioca.
