Isilon Gets Backup Software Certs

Seattle-based clustered storage provider Isilon said today that it has received two different certifications from backup software providers. Isilon said that it has received certification of its storage products with Symantec's Veritas NetBackup, and separately, with NetVault Backup from Bakbone Software. Both Symantec and Veritas develop backup software for the storage industry. The certifications provide users of the software and hardware with assurance that they will operate together properly. Isilon Systems is a developer of clustered storage systems.
