Isilon Adds Migration Tool

Seattle-based clustered storage provide Isilon announced today that it has added a new migration tool, and upgraded its replication software. Isilon said that its MigrationIQ product provides ability to migrate digital content and unstructured data between different tiers of storage. The firm also released an upgrade to the firm's replication software, SyncIQ. Migration software is used by enterprise IT managers to move less critical data to near line or archived storage; replication software is used for data protection and backup.
