Getty Images Names General Counsel

Seattle-based Getty Images said today that it has hired John McKay, former United States Attorney for the Western District of Washington, as senior vice president and general counsel. Getty Images is a provider of photography and other visual content used by newspapers, magazines, advertisers, and others. McKay was U.S. Attorney until January 2007, and has previously served at Lane Powell Spears Lubersky. Jeff Beyle, the firm's current general counsel, will become Senior Vice President, Business Development for the company. More information »
