Microsoft Looks To Boost SaaS
Microsoft has announced a new initiative to boost the Software as a Service industry today, saying that it has opened the Microsoft SaaS Incubation Center Program, a global initiative targeted at helping out independent software vendors in the industry. The new initiative will provide ISVs with business and technical guidance, consulting, and other services for ISVs using Microsoft Windows-based applications. The new program includes discounted licensing to Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server, the firm's database product, along with the support programs.
