Digimarc Gets Win In Utah

Beaverton, Oregon-based Digimarc said today that it has signed a five-year contract with the Utah Department of Public Safety Driver License Division, which will include newly designed Utah State driver licenses based on Digimarc's technology. The firm will be providing security enhancements to fight identity theft and fraud, including machine-readable digital watermarks and laser perforation. The size of the deal was not disclosed.
