Judy's Book Starts Gift Certificate Promotion

Seattle-based Judy's Book, an online recommendation engine and online community targeted at the local search space, said today that it is rolling out a promotion to give away $100 every day to the person who writes the most reviews on its web site. The firm said that it will provide a $100 gift certificate from today through March 5th. The firm has been regularly running promotions to encourage people to add their reviews to the company's local business and products review site, and had run a promotion last year where the firm gave away an iPod to anyone who wrote enough reviews on its web site. Judy's book provides reviews of local businesses through an online, linked community, and is backed by Mobius, Ignition partners, Ackerley Partners, and others.
