PhysioSonics Gains Series B

Seattle-based PhysioSonics, a firm developing noninvasive neurological monitors, said this week that it has scored a Series B funding round. The round was led by Kirby Cramer, former Chairman of SonoSite, as well as undisclosed strategic investors. The firm said the funding will go towards commercialization of its products. Cramer joins the firm as Chairman as part of the funding. Kirby was chairman of SonoSite until August of 2010, and also was a director of Immunex and CEO of Hazleton Laboratories. More information »
