Off & Away Acquired By Lockerz

Seattle-based Off & Away, the operator of an online auction site for travel packages, has been acquired by fellow Seattle firm Lockerz, according to a post on the firm's homepage. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Off & Away said it is closing its doors, as its team will start working with Lockerz on its product immediately. The company has also suspended its inbound phone customer support, and stopped holding auctions. Off & Away had been venture backed by Madrona Venture Group, which had just invested $2M in Off & Away in October of 2010.
