nworks Sells Product Line

Seattle-based nworks, a developer of software for connecting enterprise software to management applications, said Tuesday evening that it has transferred its Domino and Blackberry Smart Plug-In product lines to NiCE GmbH, a German software firm. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. nworks said that the move will allow it to focus exclusively on solutions around VMware, a provider of server virtualization operating systems. NiCE GmbH is based in Stuttgart, Germany. nworks said it will focus on its VMware software, which connects VMware's operating systems with HP Software Operations Manager, and with Microsoft's management software, Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager.
